Full of encouragement, great ideas and eagerness to start engaging with the world with our newfound Transition Town knowledge, we planned for our first big event: A Gathering of all Montrealers, young and old, French and English, Men and Women and everyone in between! An event meant to get as many collaborating hands and minds to be the change we want to see in our beautiful city!

This event never took place, as some invasive flu began to ravage our daily lives, and led to the cancellation (delay?) of our Big Gathering. Instead, we opted for a low-key first activity where we (the team) and those around us would begin seeding their (edible) plants and share advice, skills, failed attempts and successes!
